What do you listen to?
I listen to pretty much everything. Actually, I'm not a big rap fan so I guess not everything.
Punk, rock, pop, country ---- all of it. My guilty pleasure is 80's music - love it.
I guess it just depends on what mood I'm in as to what I'll listen to.

Hmm... I like lots of different genres... Pop, blues, classical, opera, techno, rap...
But! Metal... Metal is my biggest love! I like death metal the most, but i listen to heavy, thrash and black as well. If it is followed by metal I'm in! ;D I've found while growing older that I buy less metal and more mainstream music actually. But when I get to listen to a new great death metal album I'm a happy boy! ;D

I am not a big rap fan either but I've heard some of it that was pretty cool. I am not into metal music either per se, but Tommy shared some of his stuff with me last year that I really liked that....so I am flexible. I listen to just about everything else .........just throw some jazz and blues and classical and classic rock into the mix. It depends on what I am doing and my mood or who I am with. I can be all over the board in my tastes, I guess.

Depends on my mood. I tend toward the heavier, louder stuff but will listen to just about anything.

I was talking about this in my school class... I said that I feel quite comfprtable with most types of music, and in fact, if I were to go out to a myusic club I would feel I fitted in pretty well in most places. I can feel at home in a folk club or a rock club, a heavy metal night, or a cheesy 80s disco... the only types of music I feel totally alienated by are Rap and Hip Hop. In the company of those who are partial to Rap/HipHop over all other types of music I feel unwelcome and as if I just don't get it. No other type of music makes me feel so. I consider my taste to be quite ecclectic and I like to embrace new things. However, although I like some of the actual Rap/HipHop music, the people who are into the music wont accept you unless you look like a slut or a gangster. as I look like neither I will never be accepted into the world of Puff Daddy and Snoop Doggy Dogg. Never mind eh?
enyone else feel the same?

Yes Owen ... pretty good. Thanks for sharing. . . . . . . . .I pretty much like older music as a general rule but I am open to many different types of music. I like a lot of old rock and yes I especially like 80's music. I'm an 80's girl ... what can I say? I love "Edge of Seventeen" by Stevie Nicks "Enjoy the Silence" - Depeche Mode ACDC kicks ass. Motorhead Sister Christian Def Leopard Queen Skynyrd Alice in Chains Lenny Kravitz Black Crowes Metallica gosh and so many more .... Milli Vanilli was great! Still disappoints me they were frauds. I heard "Blame it on the rain" on the radio a few weeks ago. Sure brought back memories.
