What are you guys and gals doing for Halloween this year? Got a party planned? Costumes? Trick-or-treating? JOL carving? Best Halloween memories?
Please share. I'd love to hear your plans, ideas and thoughts.
I know for sure I'll be doing the JOL thingee - maybe a classic version and something more fantastic and elaborate...but I don't have any other plans currently. But I do love Halloween.
When I was a kid, it was my fave holiday of the year. Even more than Christmas. Now it's at a tie with Christmas as my two favorite holidays.
There was just something about being out in the dark in costume and seeing everyone else in costume and not knowing for sure who all the ghouls, clowns, ghosts, etc. were. Gathering candy seemed like a secondary rush compared to the thrill of being out in the night in disguise with your friends. We had a lot of very good times.

Hi LunaSea, Halloween, by far my favorite holiday. My one friend has a huge bash at his place every year called Chillers till Dawn. He has a viewing room in his house with a rear view projector. Its very state of the art as far as movies watching goes. He starts the movies at 7:30 p.m. and if anyone can hang, he runs them until 7 a.m. I also play on Oct. 30th with my group for something called Samhain which is the Celtic New Year. You can get more info on this if you look up Echoes of Erin on the net. It's an absolute blast. If you lived closer, I could invite you and your guy to both events. Maybe you feel like doing a road trip. Let me know. My wife and I are still trying to decide what to be for the party. Costumes optional.

Me and my roomie are having a halloween party!!! Should be fun. I want to go to Knott's Scary Farm, but I don't think I'm going to have enough money. Oh well, the party will be cool. I'm sure lots of alcohol and sex.

My dorm has athing where I can sign up to have trickor treaters visit. Ican't have Halloween without horror movies on while trick or treaters visit. I was gonna commandeer some kids and use them as an excuse to trickor treat, but this would take less effort. I already have a costume and candy!!

What are you dressing up as Bad Cat Girl? You know, I loved the name Scardy, but am totally into Bad Cat Girl as well. Awesome choice!

I don't quite know what to do. Either I'll go to Baden, a city 8 miles from my village or I'll go to Wr.Neustadt, a bigger city 15 miles from my village. Actually I was planning to celebrate Halloween here, but since Bernd, a friend of mine, maybe has to work the next day I don't quite know who to celebrate with.
I think it'd be cool to hike up the hills around Baden and camp there anywhere in the woods. Lighting a fire, roastin sausages and other stuff. But no one want to do that.
I don't quite know what to do....

I'm going to be a black cat... for finacial reasons. My idea was originally a lawyer with fangs (read, Bloodsucking lawyer) but, as I said, finances. Couldn't afford the stuff to pull it off. So, being Ialready have the black cat ears and tail left over from another halloween, it's a repeat this year.

It will be a fun yet rather usual Halloween for me. A good scary movie perhaps. I did the Halloween part this past Sat. at my buddy Dave's house. He has a viewing room in his house and he calls the party Chillers Till Dawn. There is an old movie I highly reccomend that he showed called "The Body Snatcher" with Boris Karloff.

Did the Ghost Hunters see or hear anything? The show was on way too late and I stopped watching at midnight.

Well, here we are again celebrating another Octoberfest and another Fall/October/Halloween Season upon us. Season of the Witch, which, by the way is an old cheesy, boring George Romero film.YAK> I like to think of this time as the season of our own beautiful little witch, Elly. Man, I sure wish there was a new Blair Witch movie to look forward to this year. I will have the annual ceremonial viewing of the "Blair Witch Project" I like to save it for this time of year now since I have seen it countless times.

HAHA Craig the With Project is the one movie I watch every year on Halloween except Ive probably watched it 10 other times this year since I just happened to get it on dvd and now that kind of ruins it for Halloween, you know? Anyway now that Im thinking about it and Im on this forum and wondering if the tent was actually being dragged, not shaken and seeing pictures of Heather, I think Ill go watch it tonight.
