I believe the total includes money that Artisan spent to shoot those alternate endings that weren't used. Something like 20 grand. I also hear the twine used was rather expensive

It was an online series. Several episodes. Not sure where to find it now. That was some time ago.

I believe the total includes money that Artisan spent to shoot those alternate endings that weren't used. Something like 20 grand. I also hear the twine used was rather expensive The initial shoot cost just a little over 20K. There are always conflicting reports on costs, revenues, yadda yadda. But out of pocket was a litle over 20K. The twine coast a fortune. Haxan had to outsource financing for it. Dan M. must have broken away for these films to whoever would distribute them: The Strand Solstice The Objective because they're not part of Haxan or Raw Feed like Believers is. I still want to see Believers and The Strand. Dan M. formed his own production company in the early 2000's called Gearhead Pictures of which I am also a part of. It was GHP that created The Strand. Solstice, Believers and The Objective were all done in cooperation with other production companies. The Strand's timing on release was a misfire, we had a few setbacks that screwed us up. Most recently I had as meeting with Dan and it's been decided I will relaunch the entire series as new, most likely quite soon. Meanwhile, Dan M. has formed a new company called Gang of Robots, currently in production of a film called SKYMAN.

the additional money to bring it to 60,000 roughly would include the money spent on Phase II in 1998, the money to purchase the computers for editing. Then there is sound mixing (yes it was done) and final processing to make to ready get to 35mm which was a whole other amount of money not figured into the 60k

The CP was Neals so that was free
Artisan's reshoots wouldn't have factored into what Haxan spent, they were shot in April 99 and were on Haxan's dime and i believe they paid them more than what the initial film cost.

An Exploration of TBWPI never knew about this video. Supposedly there is extra footage at the end that talked about the time dimension change around Heather, Mike, and Josh. I already knew about that theory but I didn't know it had been covered on a video back then. So I am wondering if this is where that theory came from originally? I'm also wondering if the footage they're referring to is the investors reel. In the investors reel it said that there are parts of the Black Hills Forest that once entered cannot be excaped. I think the IMDB link is really just another name for Sticks and Stones because that was the only thing put out by Blockbuster

The full name was Sticks and Stones: An Exploration of the Blair Witch Legend. It was a rehash of clips from Curse of the Blair Witch and the movie. The only new content was at the end, a scene between Heather and Mike (which I'm pretty sure has been uploaded and shared elsewhere on this site in the past).
