This is my confirmed list.
MESSAGE
The words which form the message are found next to Erica -- Remember, her quest was to commune with Elly..
"Seek me no further or" ...
The campfire's flames in front of Erica have the word "Seek"
The ground next to Erica has the word "me"
The window behind Erica has the word "no"
The headstone reads "Treacle" in reference to the last name of a little girl who drowned in August 1825, but then changes to the word "further".
The RUG pattern under Erica has the word "or"
After these words are seen, Tristen does in fact speak this sentence in reverse: "the children will again walk free"
Combined we get "Seek me no further or the children will again walk free"
CLUES AND IMAGES
Door . Grave . Rug . Water . Mirror
.... a door has the image of a little boy's face. .... a grave casts a stick figure shadow. .... the water has the shadow of a stick figure. .... Craven's image casts a ghostly reflection. .... there are glowing eyes on the wall behind Kim in Jeff's home. .... a stick figure shadow on the window behind the fridge & Erica. .... a screaming face in Steven's exhaled cigarette smoke. .... a giant stick figure laying in the woods as the van passes. .... a face of a roaring demon as Tristen backs away from a window.
OTHER ODDITIES
When Steven says Tristen can barely get out of bed, in the top right of the screen on the wall is the word 'STRANGE'.
A metal skull on the bottom of the cemetery archway.
When Jeff sees the fully grown tree in the ruins, after Tristen says "nobody's scared", Jeff turns to face Kim, and a flash is seen to the left of the tree.
When Jeff says "video doesn't lie Kim, but film does" you see Steven and Tristen kissing in the viewfinder, but in reality they are still only talking.
The cooler repairman says "I'm finished now" in reference to Rustin Parr's "I'm finally finished".
When Kim leaves the store, the tools outside look blood stained.
Jeff stole a town sign, "Welcome to the historic village of Burkittsville"
Tristen picks up a stick and waves it around while talking to Jeff - it's like when she waves the stick toward everyone in the video footage.

Fantastic list! I have a comprehensive list from "The Blair Witch Fan Club" days printed out somewhere among some additional items I found. Hope I can find it! But regardless, nice to see this pop up again in here!

Doesn't your PC have a DVD player and or the capability to play video files?

You're pissing me off. I want more eyes to look for these things than just mine. I've watched this movie enough times already. Everyone is lazy when it comes to the Secrets of Esrever. I doubt that the rewards would be worth sitting through one of the worst movies I have ever seen over and over.

Compared to the original film, it sucks.
Compared to MANY other movies in the world, it's not that bad.
The Secrets of Esrever are kick-ass.
I'm pretty sure everything I confirmed myself is really all there is to find. Everything else on that list was from faulty web sites. I'm editing them out of the original post, keeping only confirmed secrets.
So never mind, no one need bother to look for hidden things anymore. Go on with your lives. Later..

I will not suffer through sit through BoS again to look for this stuff. However, your list looks pretty complete to me.
Well done.

Does anyone have the short deleted scene that you got from entering "Seek me no further" into the website? I remember it was a short cut from the hospital scene, after Tristen said "Something was wrong" and the curtain was pulled back to reveal Eileen, before she faded away she said "Something IS wrong".

I'm looking for that too. The best part is that it didn't have that stupid jiggle effect on it. Much Creepier.

There is one other strange thing which is not on the opening list, which I had found a long time ago:
If you look at the prominent shot of Jeff at his front door, where he is "scaring" the others with his dog alarm, there are license plates to the side of him. multiple ones of them read 20-58, and 20-59. If you go back to these exact times in the film (as in 20:58-20:59), it is the scene where Erica "tells" her story of where she grew up and her parents. There is in fact an incorrect/unnatural "glitch" at this moment, right after Tristen asks the question but before Erica answers.
Since this information turns out to be a lie . . . we can see how this was an indication of it. A moment where the "film" was lying, or being lied to.

The electrician's tools on the floor are arranged in the shape of a stickman. The locks on the lockers in the scene where Tristen circles the bed change into the arrangement of a pentagram for a brief moment.

I forgot to list the tools in a stick figure pattern next to the cooler repairman, but in the movie itself those lockers don't change, that's only shown in the Esrever featurette.

Hi peoples...
I see from the thread that people were looking for the extended hospital scene from this movie, so I've uploaded it to YouTube:
It's very short, but a neat little extra. The quality isn't that great, but that's because this was a 2001-era MOV clip, back in the days when internet video meant waiting an hour to download a 2-inch wide 20-second clip. Oh, nostalgia...

Holy shizums! Eileen Treacle speaks.
this is what people got from entering the secret words into the website!
everyone thought that clip was lost forever.
Amazing how much work they put you through just for a 29 second clip.

Here's something else, a PDF of a really old web site that examines the Secret of Esrever: www.sendspace.com/file/5rztjeIt's from 2002 or so; not sure when the guy stopped updating it. (Ignore the date on the tops of the pages; that's just when I made the PDF from the web archive I had saved on an old computer.) It's called "Esrever: the Truth" and was done by someone calling himself "MLK." (Maybe he had a dream... sorry.) I'm not sure if it covers anything not already in this thread, but it's worth a look. Unfortunately, the screenshots didn't survive over time, but most of the information is still there.

Ok .. that was horrible to read.
But anyway, I didn't know about this one:
Entering "bring something back" supposedly unlocked something too.

This one is wrong:
".... a face of a roaring demon as Tristen backs away from a window"
It's actually the owl sitting in the tree just outside the window staring in at Tristen. It's weird to look at and can sort of look like a demon roaring if looked at in a certain way. It messes with your eyes.

Hey, trey.
I love the Treacle scene after watching my edit.
It's like a revelation "oh there's Eileen!" because in my edit we only hear Tristen tell Stephen about seeing her while in the hospital.

The Esrever Message:
The words that create a message are found next to Erica. Her personal quest was to commune with Elly ..
The campfire's flames in front of Erica have the word "Seek"
The ground next to Erica laying down has the word "me"
The window in the dining room behind Erica and Stephen has the word "no"
The headstone of the grave Kim's laying on reads "Treacle" in reference to the little girl who drowned in August 1825, but then changes to the word "further"
The rug pattern under Erica as she chants has the word "or"
After these words are seen, Tristen speaks a sentence in reverse: "eerf klaw niaga lliw nerdlihc eht" "the children will again walk free"
If combined these two sentences say: "Seek me no further or the children will again walk free"
______________________________
The Esrever Images:
Stephen closes a door that has the image of a little boy's face of the Burkittsville 7.
A headstone casts a stick figure shadow as they leave the cemetery but disappears as they walk over it.
The creek has the shadow of a stick figure on it as Tristen lowers the baby blanket into the water.
Cravens' mirror reflection casts a ghostly image during his interrogation.
Jeff's screaming face from the film's poster is seen in Stephen's exhaled cigarette smoke.
________________________________
The Non-Esrever Images:
A metal skull on the bottom of the cemetery archway.
A giant stick figure is laying in the woods as the van heads to Jeff's house.
A stick figure shadow on the window behind Erica at the refrigerator.
The cooler repairman says "I'm finished now" in reference to Rustin Parr's "I'm finally finished".
The cooler repairman's tools next to him are in a stick figure arrangement.
When Kim leaves the store there are shovels and rakes outside covered in blood.
Jeff stole a town sign, "Welcome to the historic village of Burkittsville". It is seen in the background over his computer monitor while video is playing, and also in the background in another scene.
Tristen waves around a stick while talking to Jeff's camera in his "Official Blair Store" which is reminiscent of her waving a stick at everyone in the video from the night before.
The owl is sitting in a nearby tree staring at Tristen as she looks out a window.

I was the dreamer from 2002. Still have all the files. If there's some interest, I can upload everything somewhere and make this live again. Never thought I would talk about this project 16 years later, I feel so old right now ^_^
