I love 1 and 2 but this is way too soon. I also think that overdoing something is always bad. 3 would be okay but any more than that is jut too much for me.
I can't wait to see Part 3. I think they'll be able to get away with making a Part 3 and possibly a Part 4, but I don't think it's a good idea to take the series any further than that.
Oh come on. BLOODY-FREAKIN-MARY?! That's the demon? This is going to suck like a Hoover. Very disappointed here...

LOL Yeah. That's what happens when you don't know when to stop.I don't think 3 is a lot but they've made 3 within the last 3 years or so. You need time to write and develop a good story.

From what I've seen in the trailer I'm not sure it will be good but I like that they've kept with the same story and are explaining the back story of the demon. Whether it sucks or not I'll definitely be seeing this one in theaters as I saw the previous 2.
Looks like this is gonna turn into another series like Saw and come on! This backstory just seems tacked on.
I didn't see all of the saw movies. I saw 1-4 and then the last one. The last one was really lame. Also, I didn't buy Dr. Gordon helping jigsaw out. The last time we saw Gordon in part one he was yelling "I'll f---ing kill you." It turned into a bunch of movies that were written like soap operas.
Maybe they are just throwing us all a curve. I recall there were things in the trailer for PA2 that were not in the movie. Maybe that's the case here.

The sad thing is, I know I will go see it anyway...

There's a second trailer out. Release date is Oct 21st.

Perhaps we will see what Katie meant when she told her sister she could 'end up just like Mom'. Trailer 2 shows the house burning down as well. I hope it's not all prequel. I enjoyed seeing evil Katie at the end of 2 and want to know what became of Hunter.

This series gets weaker as it goes along. This third film is my least favorite. Lots of things left unexplained. Again there were things in the trailer not in the film. Seems like they were just going through the motions with this one. The script could have used more work. Guess that's what you get when you crank one out every October.
So Grandma is the Blair Witch and has pentagrams on her walls behind the pictures. And the demon is named 'Toby'. Hmmmm. Alrighty then. Still not sure what happened to Mom. Dead or not? The fan/camera thing was annoying. There's no slow buildup of tension like the first film. A half-hour of nothing, then BAM. Rapid fire activity. For no particular reason. The jump scares are just boring at this point. We've seen it. THREE MOVIES WORTH OF THE SAME THING. And the whole 'coven' thing is just silly. Is that the best the writers could come up with? LA-ZY
I recommend waiting for the dvd. This one is a rental at best.

I haven't seen this yet. I hope it's as good as I think it will be!
. . .with the doors shut about him, he saw a black Thing jump in at the window, and come and stand before him. The Body was like that of a Monkey, the Feet like a Horse, but the face much like a Man. The Day after, upon inspection, Hair of Horse lay in. . .
