unfortunately i have never lived anywhere near MARYLAND so i cant say for definite sure what the PARR house would or should look like or where this house was since i dont know the complete history. some of the old timers around the little town of BURKITTSVILLE may know more about this but we now live in a age of things, events, and mysterious happenings that tend to get covered up when no reasonable sensible suitable explanation can be found to solve it especially so for people that go missing without a trace. so are there time loops in cursed places HEAVILY HAUNTED that can interact with the here and now?................

in the movie, when we see the house at night, we know it is rustin parrs, BUT whose house was that in real life?? does any one know? I've seen it referred to as the Griggs house. Those would be the real owners. Not in the movie.

I've been to the site of the house recently. Unfortunately it's gone and has been for a long time. You can still see where it stood pretty clearly though. I have pictures of the area.

I know, but I learned that only recently. It was still cool visiting the sight. It looks like someone has been keeping it clear of undergrowth so you can see the outline of the foundation.
