Tweek walks to the point of exhaustion. Nothing but trees. No roads, no houses, no people.
The area's not that big, he thinks. I must be close to something by now. Maybe if I keep walking...

Paranoia has gripped the exhausted Tweek. He swears he can hear footsteps behind him, in the leaves. The crunch of sticks and twigs being stepped on. But each time he turns around there is nothing. And the sounds seem to be drawing nearer. Louder now.
"HEEEEELLLLLP MEEEEEEEEE!!!!!" he screams. "I DID WHAT YOU WANTED! WHERE ARE YOU?"
The forest does not answer.

Tweek falls to his knees in mental agony! His head pounding with an unheard echo of a faraway voice...calling him...he jumps up and starts running wildly like a madman through the woods. He dodges trees without hardly looking where he runs. He suddenly crashes into the side of a short concrete wall and falls over into it. He grabs at the edge with one hand as one of his legs has already fallen in and the other is about to give. He can't hold on any longer as he is in a very ackward position, he lets go and falls. He's now in an old well and no one saw him fall in.

Leigh laughs to herself as she jogs through the old woods she visited years before. It was a cool October day. She was on vacation in a far away place, far from work with only her Ipod and her mini backpack to keep her company. She stocked it extra well this morning. Digital camera, swiss army knife and plenty of food for a week. At least the beef jerky could potentially last for several days depending on ones hunger. All these things running through her mind, naively aware of nothing but the glorious day ahead. Suddenly, Leigh stumbles upon the very same well an unfortunate soul had fallen in the previous night. She stops at the side of the well and immediately looks in. The early morning sunlight struggles to fill the empty spaces below. She yells hello into the well, expecting to hear her yell bounce back reasuringly. Instead, it is answered with a gasp and a scream from below...Leigh takes a quick step back almost tripping over her own feet. She quickly recovers grabbing on to the edge of the well and slowly pulls herself towards it. She peers inside the dark well slowly becoming brighter as the sun welcomes the day. Hi!! Leigh says, amazed to see a wide-eyed Tweek staring right back at her!!!

Tweek, is that you?!! I can't believe you're here, umm, I mean down there!! What the heck are you doing down there anyway?? Uhhhhh, Ellysowl? Tweek asks. Oh, you can call me Leigh she replies.
So, Leigh, you think you can help me find a way out? I don't see a way to climb out of this place. I'm over twelve feet deep!!
Yes, but what happened Tweek?! I don't know, I was running through the woods last night, I was playing a prank on some friends. I don't know what came over me and I just kept running and I guess I fell into this well. I still have a pounding headache!
You fell or something pushed you? Oh Tweek, just kidding. Let me see how we'll get you out. Look around you, can you see if you find any holes or loose bricks. You can use them as steps.
Hold on, let me check. Tweek looks around his new dwelling. It's cold and clamy inside the well. There are weeds growing on the ground and all kinds of small critters scurrying about in their morning chores. He finds a point of interest on one part of the bricked wall and goes to investigate. He is there a short while and notices that one of the bricks is slightly coming out from the wall, about an inch.
Do you see something Tweek? Yeah, I think I can losen a brick, I just need a knife or something. Hey, I got a knife!! yells Leigh, unzipping her backpack and retrieving her favorite knife, she smiles.
Ok, Tweek, catch! She lightly tosses it down to Tweek who almost instantly catches it and fumbles it and catches it again. Good save! Thanks.
Tweek goes back to the brick and opens the knife and starts to use the blade to carve around it. He's there for a while. He starts to push the brick back and forth between his hands to create a deeper gap between the bricks and slowly losen it from the wall. Tweek is surprised that the brick has managed to become completely free from the other bricks and he slowly pulls it out, a little hesitation as he worries what could be on the other side.
Is it working? It's more than working! I just pulled it out, and you're not going to believe this, there seems to be another area behind the wall of this well. I can feel the cold air coming through the hole and the smell...I want to see inside! Tweek, work on the bricks while I try to find some help. You gonna be alright? Ha, I think I'll live...go on but don't be too long! Ok, I won't... promise!
Tweek continues to scrape the edges of the bricks to seperate the concrete and losen the bricks. He is suddenly aware that he is not alone. He feels a presence inside. He wishes Leigh hadn't left him alone. Now he was really starting to worry...

With a loud grunt, Tweek yanks the last brick free and falls back onto the opposite wall with it. The brick tumbles from his tired fingers and lands on his foot. But he does not notice. His eyes are fixed on the hole in front of him.
A supernatural cold has filled the depths of the old well. The hand that holds the knife trembles slightly, less from the cold than from what he sees.
A pair of eyes.
Looking back at him.
From the opening in the wall.

Several minutes pass by as leigh hurries along the trail, looking for someone to help her. Hello!! she calls out. No one answers, only the sounds of birds and squirrels and other small animals. The ground is covered with orange leaves crunching at her feet. She realizes that she is no longer on the trail. It had ended sometime ago but she doesn't recall noticing. Only now that she took notice of the leaves and the trees and she felt a sudden panic, a feeling that something was watching her. It was all around her and she felt claustrophobic. Her heart started to beat wildly in her chest. ok, don't panic, everything's alright, breath deep! she thought. She started to walk in a slow pace towards the light between the trees. Her eyes darted from place to place, still paranoid but venturing on. Her heart stopped! She thought she spotted something between the trees in the distance. A dark figure. And then it was gone. It must have hidden behind a tree. She closed her eyes and slowly opened them. ok, now you're really being paranoid! she frowned. She walked quickly away to the right and followed a row of trees. She was hoping she'd come to an area she was familiar with. Crunching of leaves followed her until suddenly she noticed a movement towards her left side and as she quickly turned in surprise, something hit her on the head. She felt the blow and the feeling that she was going to pass out. She dropped on the floor and slowly closed her eyes as she fell unconscious, a gasp escaping her lips.

Moments later Leigh wakes up with her face in the leaves. She slowly gets up as she looks all around to see anyone or anything. She remembers the hit on her head. What happened? she wonders as she reaches up and touches her head. She feels a small bump and some gooey mess on her scalp and hair. She removes a glob of the goo and looks at it. It's light blue, transparent goo. huh??Oh, noooooo!
Meanwhile an owl perches on top of the mouth of the well. The sun is hiding beneath the trees and the night is slowly settleing in. Birds and creatures begin to settle in as well. She realizes she is very hundry. Amazingly, she still has her mini backpack and she quickly pulls out the beef jerkey and a bottle of Nestle Pure Life, her favorite. She rips open the pack and starts munching on a strip of jerkey and gulps at the water. Oh, that's good! OMG, what time is it!? Oh, Tweek, I almost forgot! Poor guy! I hope he's ok, I promised I'd be back...I need to find help or a way to get us both out of here!! All this, Leigh is thinking. she decides to continue walking downhill in hopes of finding someone who can help. After about an hour of tiresome walking, she sees a small old house in the distance behind many trees. She decided to walk towards it. Surely someone should be home and she can ask for help or call the police. The house was dark and the night has filled ths sky. There was only the light from the stars and moon to provide any visibility. Leigh walks up to the back of the house. She looked through the small window on the top of the door and noticed that it looked like the kitchen inside. She could see part of the top of the hood of the oven. hello? She called out. No answer. She pushed at the door with her fingertips and it gave. She drew in a deep breath and push the dor open and slowly walked in...HELLO?!

Tweek awakes in total darkness. It's cold here; he must still be underground. But not in the well. He remembers something grabbing him, pulling him forward. Then waking up just now.
He seems to be standing. His arms and legs don't respond when he tries to move. Something is holding him upright. Something much stronger than he is. He can only turn his head a little. There is a cold hard surface in front of his face.
A wall? No. It's not flat. There's an angle. It's...
"A corner. I'm standing in a corner. This can't be good..."

There is a sound from somewhere above him. A door opening. Footsteps. A faint voice.
The force that holds Tweek melts away and he drops to the ground. Feeling his way in the dark, he at last reaches what seems like the bottom of a staircase. Still unable to see, he begins to slowly climb.

Reaching the first floor, Tweek feels something wet on his face. Still unable to see anything, he raises a hand to his eyes and quickly snatches it away as if he had been burned.
The house isn't dark. It's his eyes. They're gone.
The sticky wetness he feels on his face is blood, dripping from the empty sockets. The witch has blinded him. He wonders what else she has taken. After a quick extremity check he confirms that everything is where it should be.
That sound again. A distant voice. Somewhere upstairs. She must be up there. Laughing. Taunting him.
Tweek begins to stomp up the stairs. Loudly. Planting each step with enough force to be heard all over the house. He wants her to know he is coming.
Fear has been replaced by rage.

As he climbs the steps to the third floor, a new sound rises up the stairs as if following him. It is the wind. A whispering draft that was not present until he crossed the last few steps. Debris on the stairs tangles around his feet and for a moment Tweek loses his balance and stumbles. Cursing loudly, he picks himself up and finishes the climb.
"I know you're up here, witch..." he growls. "Come and get me!"

One day passes. Then two. Then ten.
Crows and forest scavengers have begun to feed on Tweek's decomposing body. The scent of death hangs over the house like a storm cloud, dark and threatening.
A ghostly figure stands in the attic window, looking down at the scene below. Were anyone there to see it, they would recognize the face of the ghost. It is TWEEK, now dead and cursed to haunt these woods just like the others. The ghost becomes more transparent and vanishes as it turns away from the window. Then he is gone.
